Hi! My name is Elin and I'm 19. I just graduated from the technology program and I'm planning to continue my studies in a few years time. But first I want to do some work in other countries to learn other languages and gain some work experience.

I plan on studing political science, national economy and international relations when I get back to Sweden, and after that I want to work within UN. I really want to have a very international career, and for that it's really good to have some more languages than just English and Swedish. The more languages I know the more I can communicate with other people which is also a good plus. I believe that it's easier to learn a new language if you're in the country where they speak it, even though you don't work with speaking that language, but interact with people outside of work.

During the summer I work at a hotel, mainly at the front desk, but I also help out with housekeeping if I'm needed there. I really like the hotel job, but I do feel like I need something a bit more challenging. My favorite part about the job is making people as happy as possible with their stay, and I like making them smile and laugh a little while they check in or out or whatever business they bring to the front desk. I like to see the excitement on the kids faces when I hand them a coloring book.

In the future I want a career where I work with helping people and also one that's international and involve meeting new people and see different cultures. Therefore my goal is to get some experience for that before going to get my degree.
