Hello Prospective Families!

My name is Roberta and I am 26 years old, I have worked with children since I was 16 in Summer camps and then became an Early Years ESL teacher in Italy and worked in various International Schools as well as privately for various families.

I took a break from teaching and nanny work 3 years ago to travel and focus on my studies (I am currently completing a degree in Psychology) and would like to further specialise in Child NeuroPsychology in the future. Now I would like to go back working with children and find a long term family to work with here in Switzerland.

I am bilingual Italian/English and grew up in Italy, I can also speak basic German and French. I love sports, cooking and reading, I am a very active person and love being outside in nature and occasional photography if I find the view inspiring. I am also a very artistic and curious person ( I enjoy drawing and painting) and strongly believe in letting children be themselves and develop their own personality and imagination without being too influenced by adults. I am a strong believer in Montessori and child-lead play as well as education.

I believe in fostering independence and emotional intelligence in children all the while providing a safe and inspiring environment to grow in.
