We’re a family with 3 kids, 4, 6 and an 8 year old. We’re an English/ German/ French/ portuguese speaking family (we also speak spanish). We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, latest in September 2024 for a minimum of 3 months with a trial period, preferrably 1 year or longer to help with the kids and household chores in Lagos Portugal (Algarve). You will travel with us regularly to Switzerland and other places.
We’re looking for a French or German or Portuguese speaking help with a driver’s license with driving experience, as well as paid childcare experience, ideally with 3-8 year olds, with a positive can do attitude, strong work ethics, an outgoing personality, fun, creative, responsible, honest, caring, very active, independent, patient, with good communication skills and proactive, who can handle taking care of 3 kids and enjoys, and also likes to do the household work, cooking, laundry, tidying up, light cleaning. It is a unique opportunity to stay in a beautiful part of southern Portugal, with plenty of things to do such as surfing, yoga and more, and travel regularly to other places such as Switzerland.

To dos:
help taking care of kids, especially during holidays, drive kids to activities/school, take care of them (up to three kids) on your own (at home, playgrounds, do homework, beach, sports, activities, play in garden, crafting, reading/ homework ...), help out on some weekends/ evenings, more hours during school holidays. You will also help with household chores such as tidying up, cooking, laundry, groceries, other errands, car cleaning, light house cleaning. If you’re also interested to do cleaning, there’s more hours that can be added.
Working hours are about 20-30h per week (30-40 during holidays). You'll join us on our travels/ trips to Switzerland and other areas. If you’re interested in cleaning too, it would be 30-40hrs per week.
This position can be live-in/-out. salary according to experience, to be discussed. It is a unique opportunity to stay in a truly beautiful part of Portugal as well as travel regularly to other beautiful places such as Switzerland.
À faire : aider avec les enfants , à conduire les enfants aux activités/à l'école, leur apprendre le français, prendre soin d'eux (jusqu'à trois enfants) par vous-même (à la maison, terrains de jeux, leur apprendre le français, la plage, les sports, les activités, jouer dans le jardin, l'artisanat, lecture/devoirs...), une aide certains week-ends, plus d'heures pendant les vacances scolaires en août/octobre et décembre, seront compensées. Vous aiderez également aux tâches ménagères telles que la cuisine, la lessive, l'épicerie, d'autres courses, le nettoyage de la voiture, le nettoyage léger de la maison. Les heures de travail sont d'environ 20-30h par semaine (30-40hrs pendant les vacances), ou plus si vous êtes intéressée de faire aussi le nettoyage . Vous nous rejoindrez lors de nos voyages / voyages en Suisse et dans d'autres régions.
Le salaire dépend de l’expérience. C'est une occasion unique de séjourner dans une très belle partie du Portugal et de voyager régulièrement dans d'autres beaux endroits comme la Suisse.
