My name is Emeline and I am currently in search of a host family to spend one year with as an au pair girl. I am 18 years old and from France, specifically from the Basque country. I would like to submit my candidature to you as I am hoping to improve my english skills and to explore a new culture.
I have a bit of experience with working with kids. This summer, I worked for a family for two weeks, helping them with their five children, aged 6 to 11 years old, as well as with light work around the house. In addition to that, I regularly take care of my 2 nieces and have since they were little (they are now 12 and 6 years old). I can also cook and do chores. I recently started my last year of high school and will earn my high school diploma at the end of the school year.
l am hardworking, determined, efficient, and nice. I am always focused on the task at hand, and always try my best. I'm really motivated, and have I thought about being an au pair for a long time. This will help me achieve my goals to become a flight attendant, to learn english better, and to improve my accent while helping people. I think it can be a mutual beneficial experience, as I will be able to learn and help you, a family, at the same time. I would love to discover a new culture and show you mine too! I could teach a bit the French language to the children, as well as introduce them to French specialities. This experience can be really enriching for everyone!
I would love to spend around 8 to 10 months here, and am free starting from September to July/August. I have also earned my driver’s license one month ago. If you want to get to know each other, I'd love to exchange more with you !
