Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I am a caring, genuine and loving 22 year old au pair from Bath, south west England. I currently work with children aged 5-12 at summer playschemes and at after school activity clubs, as well as nurseries for children aged 0-4. I have a genuine passion for children, and split my time between my job in Bath and my family in Brighton, south coast England, where I have a 2 year old sister, Celia and a nearly 3 year old brother, Olli, who I look after frequently. I am extremely interested in working in the The Rhone Alps, to improve my language skills, meet a lovely family and learn about the French Culture. I have two Playwork Partnership Qualifications Level 2 and am trained in equal play opportunities for children and young people. I am also trained in and work with children with special needs, both in the Playscheme environment and on a 'one-to-one' basis with children in their own homes or in their schools. I find this extremely rewarding and love making a difference to childrens lives. I work with children with autism, downs syndrome and behaviour problems.
