Au Pair's Message to Families

Dear Family, I am so excited that you chose to look at my profile! I recently graduated from college with a degree in education. Since I have a passion for child care and for traveling I thought I would do both! I am possibly traveling with my room mate who is also an education graduate. Would love to be able to work together or in the same area but not a deal breaker! I have been a nanny for a wonderful family for the past 8 years. I have watched the two girls grow up and feel like an older sister. I am sad to say I am no longer needed so now I am looking for a new family to make the same impact on! Along with finding a family to work for I am also looking for the cultural aspect of working in another country. I do ask that I have time (depending on number of months I work for the family) to do some traveling. I am trained in first aid, CPR, and will soon be trained to teach English as a second language. I think of myself as a very adventurous, lovable and trustworthy person. I am looking to be treated as not only the "au pair" but as a friend. Although I checked no on housework, I am happy to "help" around the house with cooking and cleaning up after myself. I am also a huge animal lover, leaving my own dog will probably be the hardest part. I hope you chose to n about you and your family :)
