Family's Introduction to Au Pair
We hope this message finds you well. We are thrilled to introduce ourselves and extend a warm welcome to you as a potential member of our family as an au pair. Our household is a dynamic and loving environment where we strive to provide the best care and support for our 16-month-old child, Micah, who has developmental delays.
Allow us to introduce ourselves:
About Our Family:
Father: My name is Dean. I work in a profession that requires me to be away from home for extended periods. Every month, I have to travel for work, which means I'm not always physically present at home.
Mother: I'm Diana, and I work in the city in a demanding job. While I do my best to balance work and family life, my responsibilities often require me to be away from home during the day.
Child: Our adorable 16-month-old child, Micah, is the heart and soul of our family. Despite facing developmental delays, Micah brings immense joy and laughter into our lives. We believe in providing Micah with the support and care they need to thrive and reach his full potential.
Daycare: Micah attends daycare four days a week, where they engage in activities and receive specialised care tailored to their needs. This arrangement allows us to balance our work commitments while ensuring Micah receives the necessary attention and developmental support.
About the Au Pair Position:
As an au pair, you would play a crucial role in our family dynamic. Your responsibilities would include providing personalised care and attention to Micah, engaging in stimulating activities, assisting with light household chores, and preparing meals for the family. We are looking for someone who is not only passionate about childcare but also willing to support us in maintaining a nurturing and organized home environment.
Our Expectations:
We value open communication and collaboration. We believe in working together as a team to provide the best possible care for Micah.
Flexibility is key. While we have a structured routine in place, we understand that unexpected situations may arise, and we appreciate your adaptability and willingness to pitch in when needed.
Respect and kindness are fundamental values in our household. We treat each other with empathy and understanding, fostering a supportive environment where everyone feels valued and appreciated.
Next Steps:
If our family and the au pair position resonate with you, we would love to learn more about you and discuss the possibility of welcoming you into our home. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have or to express your interest in the position.
Thank you for considering joining our family as an au pair. We look forward to the opportunity to get to know you better and embark on this journey together.
Warm regards,
Dean, Diana & Micah
